About Us

> Our Journey.

Freshet Systems was born from operational experience.

Our roots trace back to White Oak Water, a sister company specializing in water management for hydraulic fracturing. Since 2018, our team has planned and executed water operations across Western Canada, working on over 400 hydraulic fracturing wells for 17 clients. Through that work, we saw firsthand the growing pressure on water systems, increasing volumes, higher flow rates, and tightening availability constraints.

In 2023, Freshet Systems was established to address these challenges directly. Our objective was clear: develop water management solutions that can scale with industry demands while remaining flexible, efficient, and deployable in real-world conditions.

Our team brings together deep operational expertise, regulatory insight, infrastructure development, and manufacturing know-how. This combination allows us to design solutions that are not only innovative, but practical and field-ready.

We work closely with upstream producers and leading water service companies to strengthen the overall water management ecosystem. Through collaboration, we aim to elevate how water is stored, moved, and reused across the industry.

Milestones

  • Q3 2024 — After evaluating multiple design concepts, the Freshet Tank reached its current form, establishing a clear and scalable design direction.

  • Q1 2025 — Freshet Systems filed its first patent covering the structural behavior of the tank, enabling high wall strength through controlled axial and circumferential displacement.

  • Q3 2025 — The company completed its Series A equity raise to advance the technology toward commercial readiness.

  • Q1 2026 — Freshet Systems commissioned its first field deployment, a 6,500 m³ pilot tank. The pilot successfully validated the structural behaviour, deployment methodology, and scalability of the system, supporting future deployments of up to 50,000 m³.

We believe the Freshet Tank represents a step change in water infrastructure. By combining large-scale capacity with agility and redeployability, it unlocks a decentralized model for freshwater handling and produced water reuse, ultimately driving more sustainable and resilient water management practices.
